I had an awsome idea for the theme TREE and I knew right where to go. I wanted a shot FROM a tree instead of the tree itself. I quickly climbed the five million stairs to the top of Tarzan's Treehouse and found my shot. An old rope. I looked through my view finder but I found it kind of boring. I needed to spice up the shot. I felt a tugging at the back of my pant leg and I turned to see what it was. It was a kid about five years old. Hi, my names Burt, he said. Then it came to me. Hi Burt, my names ... SIMBA, I said. (What? Thats the only thing that came to me on such short notice) I asked him if he wanted to be in a photo I was taken. He smiled and nodded vigorously. Cool I said. I lifted him up to the railing, where he stood. Ok, when I count to three, I said, you jump out to that rope and swing. He nodded vigorously again.
One ...
Two ...
I felt a tug at the back of my shirt and turned around to the familiar voice of my spouse, Are you making a kid jump of the railing at the top of Tarzan's Treehouse?! I turned back to where the kid was. Gone. No where in sight. No, I said, just this boring rope. See. Click Click.
Stop hating, he's fine. I looked over the railing. He landed on the canopy at the bottom that keeps the spit wads off your head from the people at the top.

This is for all the workers in the world, past, present and future who clean up after us and make everything look shiny, clean and beautiful.
And yes, he's scowling at me because he can't figure out how I got my hand prints so high up on the window. I'll never tell.

That Familiar Thump Thump
I was driving along in my little red corvette starspeeder, top down, star shine flowing through my hair and some sweet beach tunes playing on the radio when I felt that familiar THUMP THUMP vibrate through my seat. I pulled over the to the proverbial side of the road and got out to check the side of the ship. I was right. Flat tire. I popped open the trunk and saw a big gaping hole in my spare. With a deep sigh I headed back to the proverbial road. I new what had to be done, so I rolled up my pant leg, stuck my big hairy leg out and waited for someone to stop and give me a ride. After hours of being passed by with people honking and saying crude things, I heard the sound of a familiar tune slowly approaching.
Low rider drives a little slower
Low rider is a real goer
It was the song by WAR. Soon I saw the source. It was a Starspeeder 1000 and it was pulling over to the proverbial curb. I ran to the side and the drivers window rolled down, smoke bellowing out in thick clouds. A little dude named R2D2 hung his round cylindrical head out the window and yelled, Heeeeyyyy duuuude, need a ride man? Hesitant, I said yes. I got in the car, he turned the music back up, stepped on the gas and ran right into the back of my little red corvette Starspeeder, destroying both ships. I could hear R2D2 as I floated off into space, singing
Take a little trip, take a little trip and see
Take a little trip, take a little trip with me
One of these days R2, ONE of these days. POW! To the moon!
