Hollywood Tower Hotel
One morning while staying at the Tower of Terror ... er ... Hollywood Tower Hotel, I noticed my room was over run by mice and other cartoon characters. So I hopped into my slippers, put on my fuzzy white hotel robe and headed out of the room. Briskly walking down the hall, robe flapping behind me like batmans cape cause I forgot the belt to the robe, I headed towards the elevator. As I passed other guests in the hallway, they were all screaming and running away from me. I assumed their rooms where also over run by mice and other cartoon characters. As I approached the elevators, I noticed they seem to all be out of order. Spying the service elevator, I quickly hopped in and pushed the lobby button. It took a few seconds before the elevator started moving but when it did, it did. I was flung to the ceiling as the elevator dropped towards the bottom of the hotel! Just as I thought the end was near, I was flung to the floor as the elevatoer sprang back up towards the top floors! Plastered to the ground with my robe up over my head I panicked, afraid I was gonna be shot out of the top of the hotel like Charlie and Willy Wonka. At the last second, the elevatore slowed, I breathed, it dropped. Plastered to the ceiling once again, robe wrapped around my face the elevator flew towards the ground and breakneck speeds. I began to cry. Death was surely looming for me this time. Just as I began to ask for mama, the elevator began to slow. I couldn't believe it. I stood, the elevator gently stopped and the doors slid open with a "ding". There stood a bellhop who looked at me and said, sir, we're gonna need you to come with us since we have asked you numerous times NOT to ride this in you robe and nothing else. You keep scaring the other guests.
I ran. Slippers slapping the pavement like a clock gone mad and my robe flying behind me like batmans cape.

Pioneer Cemetery
There is an old cemetery in the shadows behind Fort Wilderness on Tom Sawyers Island. Rumor has it there are real people buried there. It's not true. I spend two days diggin back there and never found a thing!

Honey, I Found A Great Parking Space
Ridemakerz is a store where you design and build your own toy car. Like Build a Bear but for cars. You can even make them remote control (which I just HAD to play with). The coolest part is the store itself and this full sized race car hanging above your head as you enter the store. So imagine my surprise when I heard the words, oh, you can test drive any of the cars! As I was half way up the wall I heard, sir, I meant the radio controlled cars! So I climbed down and was escorted out. (again, Disney police, I'm kidding so please don't arrest me on sight)
PS. There are over 649 million variations you could possibly make. (swoooooooon)
Really though, my first thought as I entered this building and saw the car parked upside down on the ceiling was, OH COOL! Sherilyn's here!!! :)

Our Daily Topic: Look What I Found/Saw
The Stories of Main Street USA
A sense of awe overwhelms me as I look down Main Street USA in Disneyland. People from all over the world in one place at one time with no thoughts of hate, politics or war. Everyone of them having new memories painted into there consciousness with bold brush strokes. Memories that will stay with them forever. I imagine those stories as they walk by me with the smiles on there face, laughing, eyes wide with wonder, is this their first visit here I think to myself. Is it there last? I find myself standing at a corner on a piece of ground that people from all over the world have stood, I look up Main Street and I see the hope of a future with peace and unity for the world that so many deny can happen. A sense of awe overwhelms me as I look down Main Street USA in Disneyland.

Mark Twain Steam Boat
My favorite ride at Disneyland when I was a kid and still is. Don't know what it is about this steam boat but I love it.
